Short Message Service (SMS) Banking Services

SMS Banking is a service that allows customers to access their account information via mobile phone.The purpose of this service is to send various alerts based on the criteria designed (Push SMS) and receive requests from customers and send that information through SMS (Pull SMS) within India only. This will facilitate customers to keep track of transactions happening in their accounts and also get required information without visiting Bank premises. Bank reserves the right to amend this policy at its discretion. In case of amendments, users will be informed appropriately.

Your mobile number will be linked to your individual account(s). Please note that at this moment, the service is restricted to enquiry functions on accounts and is not applicable for funds transfer between accounts.

Please do not store sensitive account information on your phone or reveal to anyone. Be reminded to delete any SMS sent to 9223178900 from your phone ‘Sent’ folder.

If customer Changes the Mobile number he / she has to again register the new mobile number

SMS banking services are operated using both push and pull messages. Push messages are those that the bank chooses to send out to a customer's mobile phone, without the customer initiating a request for the information. As mentioned in features alerts. Following are the Alerts initiated
1 Transaction SMS
  SMS will be sent to customers about any Debit or Credit transaction happening in their accounts (other than ATM transactions) as per the limit defined on transaction amount.
2 Inward / Outward Return
  SMS will be sent to customers about Inward & Outward clearing Cheque returned
3 SMS Registration
  SMS will be sent to customers for acknowledging registration of services.
4 A/Cs opened
  SMS will be sent to customers on opening of account.
5 TD Matured Records
  SMS will be sent to customers about Term Deposit maturing in the start of the month.
6 Locker Due Rent
  SMS will be sent to customers about Overdue of Locker Rent in the next month.
7 SI Non Execution
  SMS will be sent to customers about non execution of their standing instructions.
8 DP Expiry
  SMS will be sent to customers about DP Expiry.
9 ATM Transactions
  SMS will be sent to customers for withdrawn cash on ATM.

Pull messages are those that are initiated by the customer, using a mobile phone, for obtaining information in the bank account.
