JANAKALYAN MOVES WITH TIME IN TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES


JKSBL
always keeps pace with the technology to offer quality and satisfying services to its customers. JKSBL while introducing new technology has always given the prominence to ensure suitable products address the appropriate needs of the customers ensuring total customer satisfaction by following rules & guidelines of regulators. JKSBL continuously ventures for faster delivery of products increase in business and ability to handle larger business volumes round the clock with the help of technology. JKSBL ensures security in operations by implementing proper data access controls at various user levels effectively which maintains confidentiality, data integrity and availability of data at all times.

JKSBL is presently using banking solution in a distributed database (Microsoft-SQL) called OMNIEnterprise and has initiated implementation of the CBS (Core Banking Solutions). JKSBL has entered into tie-up with third party for sharing their Data Center thus saving on huge capital expenses. Thus JKSBL can provide wide range of banking products and can open the door for electronic based service delivery channels like Internet Banking, Mobile Banking etc. This software will be implemented by the Bank’s in-house team. It will facilitate the customers to avail various products/services across all the branches, any where and any time.
 

ABB – (Any Branch Banking)


JKSBL
has undertaken technology initiatives, have facilitated customers to transact their accounts from any of JKSBL branches. This service is introduced in the year 2005.
 

 

ATM - SWITCH


JKSBL
has implemented ATM switch in the year 2008 and added 3 more ATMs making total to 10 ATM’s. These ATMs are connected to Central ATM Switch. JKSBL customers of branches located in Mumbai, Thane, New Mumbai & Panvel are able to withdraw through any of the ATMs of the Bank. JKSBL has overcome the geographical barriers by entering into ATM Sharing Arrangement with BANCS ATM network. The BANCS network consists of Bank of India, IDBI Bank, Axis Bank etc. Now our ATM card holder can withdraw money with the JKSBL GOLD ATM Card' from more than 6500 ATMs across all over India.
 

CALL CENTER


JKSBL
has plans setting up a Call Centre. The said facility will be made available to all customers very soon. Customers can forward their queries, suggestions, complaints etc. to the Bank management using Toll-Free number. Such facility will help our customers to interact freely with the Bank management.
 

ReLeAS (Retail Lending Automation Software)

has in the year 2007 implemented ReLeAS, a unique software product which has enabled Bank to appraise and disburse quality retail advances with greater speed.
 

RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement)


JKSBL
is the 5th Bank in the country amongst the Co-operative Banks to offer RTGS services. JKSBL has implemented this payment systems initiated by the RBI in the year 2004. Thus our customer can transfer their funds in hours time to 55,000+ INFINET (Indian Financial Network) member Bank branches across India.
 

NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer)

has implemented this payment systems initiated by the RBI in the year 2007. Thus our customer can transfer their funds on the same day to 55,000+ INFINET (Indian Financial Network) member Bank branches across India.
 

ECS (Electronic Clearing System)

has introduced Electronic Clearing System initiated by the RBI. This facility has helped customers to auto-schedule their payments and receipts
 

CLEARING


JKSBL
has automated operations of the Clearing section by implementing software modules from OMNIEnterprise, power encoders, encoders, networking devices. This has enabled JKSBL to comply all the time frames of the RBI. Thus JKSBL has ensured timely submission and collections of Customer Cheques benefiting them to get credits/debits in time.
 

Mailing Solutions and Bulletin Board (Internal Website)


JKSBL
has reduced cost, improved communication within and outside the Bank, reformed processes by implementing Mail and Messaging solutions using m@ilserv application with Sify broadband connectivity. Intra-Website helps staff to get appropriate information on the fingertips and help in quick customer services.
 

KMT (Knowledge Management Tool)

has equipped its Secretariat Department with the software product which enables to get the information like the circulars / guidelines / regulations issued by IBA / SEBI / NABARD / FIMMDA / NSDL / IRDA. Annual policies, Reviews, Articles, Speeches, Committee reports of RBI Banking related codes, regulations, rules, codes etc. Thus the JKSBL keeps itself updated with all latest happenings in the industry.
 

TREASURY


JKSBL
has Treasury Department looking after the investment portfolio of the Bank. JKSBL has computerizes the back office activities implementing the software solution iDEAL from Credence Analytics. This automation has helped JKSBL to manage the complete trading operations in one single integrated system. It includes maintaining trading books, proprietary books, client orders, and managing primary market participation, regulatory compliance, etc.
JKSBL can handle Money market instruments Call Money, Term Money, CP (Commercial Papers), CD (Certificate of Deposit), SLR / Non SLR (Statutory Liquidity) effectively.
 

NDS (Negotiated Dealing System)

has implemented NDS initiated by the RBI in the year 2002. This facilitates investment of surplus funds, trading in Government Securities and Call Money Market operations. 
 

FM (Facility Management)

has FM Services from Omnitech Info solutions Ltd. Facility Management (FM) services are the IT Infrastructure Management Services. The customer is benefited in their services delivery since maximum uptime of the system devices is ensured. Bank staff can register their IT setup related complaints, Centralised call management, vendor management, set reminders, calculate downtime, set the priorities to the calls etc
 

MANAGED ANTI-VIRUS SOLUTION

ensured the data protection from virus attacks by implementing Online Antivirus solution from McAfee. The data files of new signatures get automatically updated on daily intervals on all data servers as per the schedule set in the systems. Customer is benefited since Bank can offer uninterrupted services.
 

PAYROLL


JKSBL
has implemented a unique software product which has enabled Bank to automate entire Payroll activities and enhanced the speed, accuracy in the work.
 

PROCUREMENT PROCESS - ONLINE REVERSE AUCTION

has adopted technology based procurement through Online Reverse Auction, for saving in cost, time and brought full transparency in the procurement process.
 

DATA WAREHOUSE & DATA MINING


JKSBL
has developed various products for data mining from its data warehouse. It is being used by Bank for effective Deposit and Advances Monitoring, Loan Disbursement Schedules, Audit Trails, Cash Management, Online MIS etc
 

OVERNIGHT SYSTEM PROCESSES

has implemented a reporting tool that generates EIS (Executive Information System) reports overnight by extracting data from all branch locations & Head Office using data network.
